Business Development Representative

Are you a Loan Officer who loves the work but is looking for a more secure salary? Perhaps you are an Account Executive or a Title Rep and want to try another adventure, this might be the position for you! The Lending Group, Co., is looking for a true salesperson, who loves the thrill of the hunt for new prospects and has a proven track record for converting new leads into clients. The goal of this role is to help build the LO's business via relationships with realtors, financial planners, and other financial or real estate professionals. This representative should have mortgage experience and be a creative thinker, goal-oriented and fun.
Compensation: $55,000 - $73,000 yearly
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct calls to real estate agents from a list according to production with a goal of 13 live connections per day and 40 calls per week
  • Update current information for all leads to teams by continuously revising the client database
  • Network with realtors, financial planners, and other financial professionals (CPAs, insurance agents, etc.)
  • Make 100 daily cold calls to new realtors and set 2-3 Zoom meetings a day with potential clients
  • Develop marketing strategies and branding that drive business to our branch
  • Assist real estate agents and referral partners with growing their business
  • Create educational opportunities for real estate agents and potential clients
  • Develop weekly outreach to referral partners
  • Coordinate events (both financially related ones and fun ones) for clients and referral partners

Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation is required in order to attend client meetings
  • Demonstrated strength in the areas of time management, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of sales process and understanding of how to enter information into client databases
  • We require a current NMLS license or National Association of Mortgage Broker license or have the ability to gain licensure within the first 90 days of employment
  • At least 1 year of sales experience as a real estate ISA, sales representative, or similar position
  • Current NMLS license for PA, NJ, DE, and FL a plus or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • 5 years of sales experience
  • 5 years of mortgage experience as a Loan Officer, or Operations Manager
