- Design, develop and maintain automated ForeScout policies
- Implement and maintain multiple Enterprise Managers across 200+ ForeScout appliances
- Design, develop and maintain PowerShell and Python scripts
- Develop tools, framework, and infrastructure to improve testing efficiency and quality
- Work closely with product, development, and sustaining teams
- Design, develop, and maintain ForeScout integrations with other cybersecurity tools such as IBM QRadar, FireEye, Palo Alto etc…
- Perform highly complex (senior-level) information security analysis work.
- Coordinate and/or plan, implement, and monitor security measures for information systems and infrastructure to regulate access to computer configuration and data files and to prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.
- Support development and maintenance of the data center information security program.
- Ensure all required information security requirements and related reporting are met.
- Execute risk management program through planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing information technology disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Coordinate and support policies for encryption of data transmissions and the definition of firewall configuration to protect confidential information in transit.
- Coordinate with all agency programs for complete analysis and understanding of security infrastructure.
- Confer with users to discuss issues such as account permission and data access needs, security violations, and programming changes.
- Advise management and users regarding security configurations and procedures.
- Design, automate, manage, and deploy security applications and infrastructure program activities.
- Develop and recommend plans to safeguard computer/server/network configurations and data files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.
- Modify and monitor computer/server/network configuration and data files to incorporate new software and virus protection systems, correct errors, or change individual access status.
- Plan and deploy continuous automated security compliance capabilities.
- Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to protect data systems and databases from unauthorized access.
- Participate in the development of information technology disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Support and manage information security and risk management awareness and training programs.
- Assist with reviews of results of special investigations, internal audits, research studies, forecasts, and modeling exercises to provide direction and guidance.
- Perform, assist and review technical risk assessments and reviews of new and existing applications and systems, network, servers, including data center physical security and environment.
- Regulate and review access to computer/server configuration and data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend systems and procedures for the prevention, detection, containment, and correction of data security breaches.
- Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and to improve application, server, and network efficiency.
- May assign and/or supervise the work of others.
- Perform related work as assigned.
- May occasionally work evenings, weekends or holidays.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum of 5 years IT experience with Cybersecurity Policy and threat mitigation.
- Must have knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity Tools, network topologies, data centers, intrusion detection, PKI, and secured networks.
- Experience testing network security product such as firewall, intrusion prevention systems, and SIEM solution
- Hands-on experience with Linux
- API integration and automation experience
- Experience providing and maintaining complex, automated regression tests
- Ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software and network issues
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Previous work experience with government agencies is beneficial
- Knowledge of implementation and security levels and roles necessary for successful deployments
- CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst (CSA+) is preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ (Security+) is preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) is preferred.
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) is preferred
- Experience with Atlassian Tool suite preferred
- Knowledge of technology across all mainstream network, operating systems, and application platforms; operational support of networks, data centers, operating systems, Internet technologies, databases, and security applications; information security practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
- Additional 10 years relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelors’ degree
- The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation
