JR Product Analyst (ROCR)

Job Summary:

The Junior Product Analyst will assist our Rapid Optical Character Recognition (ROCR) team in enhancing, maintaining, and providing technical support for our ROCR product. Typical tasks include analyzing the results of OCR processing, creating/tailoring templates to increase OCR accuracy, working with our operations team to improve functionality, and automate business logic processing into our toolsets.

• Routinely perform data analysis on OCR engine and output for accuracy
• Analyze PDF OCR templates and continually modify to increase accuracy and data capture scope
• Design and implement new content templates for providers
• Use RegEx to design templates to capture complex PDF data
• Perform SQL queries to ensure medical data is properly stored
• Assist with applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies to existing services
• Learn our unique business logic and develop methods to automate within OCR process
• Define product reporting metrics such as OCR speed, quality, coverage, and processing response times
• Work with the development, database, and quality assurance teams to resolve known issues
• Assist with the setup and execution of product demonstrations and training sessions

Job Requirements:

Required skills and experience:

• Familiarity with optical character recognition and image processing technologies
• Experience using RegEx to enhance pattern recognition
• Experience learning new products and quickly understanding business logic
• Experience providing technical support to internal and external users
• Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills

Desired skills and experience:

• Experience with C# and/or .NET
• Basic experience using rational databases such as SQL
• Basic experience using Azure Cloud technologies
• Experience with Natural Language Processing
• Previous experience with Agile or similar methodologies
• Basic understanding of medical documentation and the healthcare industry
