POSITION DESCRITION

This role works closely with the customer on the implementation, requirements gathering, data modeling, and mapping while being able to use soft skills to influence and present effective solutions to the customer. He or she should be comfortable working with the staff of all levels, coordinating and delivering advancement best practice consultation for the implementation of Affinaquest.

This role is part of the professional service team, working with clients from the higher education and non-profit sector. The role works with clients, gathering and documentation use cases, models data, and builds prototypes, develops mapping, and works with technical resources to ensure data migrate successfully. The role will be involved in testing, configuration requirement gathering, and training. He or she should be comfortable working with staff at all levels, as they coordinate and deliver best practices as components to the Affinaquest implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementation services encompass project planning, requirements gathering, specifications, data conversion mapping, configuration, documentation and training, and production support.
  • Lead or assist with client business process work sessions, document use cases, and develop specifications and requirement documents.
  • Work with client and project teams to implement Affinaquest.
  • Assist clients in resolving process and data issues, ensure business processes support fundraising industry best practices.
  • Analyze and evaluate legacy system data and processes for migration.
  • Prepare presentation or curriculum materials for onsite or online delivery during client meetings and training sessions.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently to both technical and non-technical people alike.
  • Coordination with internal teams and clients.
  • Maintained project transparency with the Client, Project Manager, and Delivery Center Manager ensuring all are timely aware of any project risks
  • Ensured the client has a full comprehension of the product
  • Ensured weekly time allocations are best utilized to maximize weekly potential for billable hours and deliver the scheduled engagements and configurations to the client efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with implementation of information management systems, prefer Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Experience in higher education advancement or not-for-profit
  • Demonstrated skills and ability to coordinate work activities with client staff, supervisory, and technical team members.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Work Remotely; Willingness to travel for delivery of onsite client consultation services, required
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and learning and deploying new processes
  • Good judgement and detail oriented while being able to use soft skills to influence and present effective solutions to the clients.
  • Working Conditions: Occasionally travel, possible nights and/or weekend work during deployments.
  • Additional Experience, Skills & Abilities: Salesforce Certified Administrator is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of SQL preffered
  • Basic SQL querying knowledge in relational database systems preferred
