- Bachelors' or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills in core Java. Exposure to concepts including: object oriented programming, parallel processing (including multithreading and synchronization), web services, and unit testing.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills on either MS SQL Server or Oracle, including query tuning/debugging and transaction management.
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, solving heuristic/optimization types of problems, and profiling/optimizing code performance
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills, ability to gather and understand requirements in the financial sector.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, agile/scrum environment
- Ability to work and problem solve independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes
Highly Desirable
- Exposure to commercial software, developing multi-tier enterprise software solutions
- Exposure or knowledge of the financial industry is a strong plus
- Math and/or finance background highly desirable
Knowledge of Kafka, Cucumber, gRPC, Azure, Kubernetes and Docker

Salary: From $40.00 per hour
