Position Purpose:
Performs complex (journey-level) analytical work. Interprets data and creates reports. Supports research teams to produce valuable insights from data. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Interprets data from multiple sources and across databases using standard statistical analyses.
- Contributes to development of programs and scripts for data transformation, integration, reduction, and data visualization across multiple data sets.
- Develops reports, charts, graphs and tables using data from several data sources including SQL databases, SAS datasets, Microsoft Excel files and others as necessary.
- Create custom reports to help project staff and customers understand trends in project outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in statistics, epidemiology, economics, mathematics or related discipline
Experience
- One (1) year working with large datasets
- One (1) year conducting statistical modeling, programming, and analysis using SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar software
- Working with Power BI, Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics, or similar data visualization software, preferred
