MicroStrategy Architect/Developer

Gridiron is seeking a Analytics Solutions Architect to support a federal program in Washington, DC.

The MicroStrategy Solutions Architect is responsible for identifying areas of improvement in MicroStrategy architecture, implementing automated solutions for areas of improvement, and serving as a consultant and MSTR SME for junior developers. The Solutions Architect should be a key member of the team who can be relied on for key decision points when building new dashboards in MSTR, and would be expected to train junior developers on new tools. Core responsibilities will be associated with maintaining a highly functioning MSTR environment including but not limited to: managing migrations and production releases, creating Command Manger scripts, implementing System Manager automations, and maintaining cross team documentation. They should be a self-starter who can readily identify and act on areas of improvement. They must also be willing to learn the transactional system and help resolve any bugs that occur. Previous success with MicroStrategy Command Manager, System Manager, and SQL are required to excel in this role. Previous experience managing a team of MSTR developers or exposure to product owner are a plus.

Additional experience and responsibilities will include supporting MicroStrategy Dashboard development when required, this may include developing schema objects, datasets, report service documents, and/or dossiers. Expected to serve as back-up administrator and should be able to support object migration and basic administration tasks. Deep understanding of MicroStrategy administration/maintenance required to support effective delivery across multiple workstreams.

Pay: $72,638.00 - $168,257.00 per year
