The Oracle Primavera Implementation Consultant is a pinnacle role in our organization and is key to the operational success in one or more of our primary clients. The ideal person has functional working knowledge of Primavera P6, Tableau, Unifier and/or similar enterprise level data management software and implementation experience. This role demands dynamic and extraordinary articulation for delivering best practices.
NOTE: Position will start out from a Remote Work from Home Office; subject to change depending on the state of the global pandemic. Once deemed safe, travel to other Gaea or client sites may be required.

The role of an Oracle Primavera Implementation Consultant is a highly visible performer who will carry weighted responsibilities to every area of the Gaea operations team. This rock star will be able to adjust to an ever-changing environment, share proven concepts and maintain a rapport within a diverse working culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Work with customers to understand and analyze business processes and requirements in rolling out a project management and cost controls solution.
Analyze complex systems and complex system interdependencies to provide solutions on project management.
Provide best practice project management methodology, and help reduce risks by instituting risk management.
Implement Process controls based on customer requirements, focused on cost controls and project management as well. Identify and define processes for project controls.
Use advanced mathematical algorithms, to provide cost models that can be used in financial planning and analytics.
Use statistical analysis to provide best practice KPIs that can be used in analytics.
Use regression analysis and linear programming to validate data and provide data extrapolations used in reporting.
Lead Business Intelligence and Analytics development by creating mock-ups, wireframes, and designing reports, based on industry norms and best practices of analyzing and visualizing data, with oversight to the development of reports and dashboards.
Work with client and/or vendors to design, refine and validate system process to ensure they are measuring and reporting appropriate metrics.
Assess and identify gaps in existing processes, and identify key points of process improvements.
Develop and maintain engineering project plans, including enterprise structures, organization breakdowns, and work breakdowns, to ensure optimization in processes.
Provide mathematical probabilistic modeling for what-if scenarios and issue analysis/gap analysis that measures schedule and cost performance.
Formulate and write detailed engineering specification documents based on customer requirements.
Coach and explain domain-specific terms and language that allows our technical development team to tailor the best solution for the customer.
Act as a bridge between the customer and our technical consultants.
Apply functional engineering knowledge to ensure that the software solution is optimized efficiently and effectively for the customer's needs.
Collaborate with the client's engineering team to produce a set of functional requirements to be input into the software solution.
Perform Quality Analysis by developing use cases and test plans for all phases of the project.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure total quality management.
THE MUST HAVES:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a related field preferred; Or equivalent years of work experience. .
5-8 years of direct proven experience successfully leading implementations in a project management organization.
Knowledge of Industry standard Project management and Cost Controls methodologies.
Understanding of civil and environmental engineering processes and industry operations and flow.
Understanding of Engineering Designs, Structures, and Data structures.
Strong mathematical and statistical skills to understand data.
Strong understanding of Linear programming and Regression Analysis.
Strong ability of Probabilistic Management of scenarios.
Ability to work with and understand complex systems dynamics and interactions between multiple systems.
Understanding of Failure or Gap analysis and documenting improvements based on Gaps identified.
Knowledge of Process Optimization for process improvements.
Knowledge of Risk Analysis & Reduction.
Knowledge of the process controls, process optimization, and projects lifecycle.
EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATES CONSIDERED WILL HAVE:
Proven data management and project controls experience in Primavera P6, Unifier, or similar Enterprise Project Management software.
5 years or more of critical leadership in a diverse and high paced environment
Strong understanding of systems and data with above average analytical skills to view different dimensions of project data.
Understanding of data flow diagrams, enterprise software and lifecycle of a system rollout.
An understanding of construction management, project controls processes and construction phases of project control management.
