The Senior Software Engineer Architect for OS Inc. is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality and timely software solutions to our clients, owners, and end users. He/she will have the experience necessary to identify, communicate, design, deliver, and maintain our proprietary software solutions. He/she will be able to design and build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with our internal standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:
  • Serves as a principal and collaborative contributor to automation, service, product, and integration designs.
    • Assures that designs balance an appropriate level of flexibility with an anticipated ROI.
  • Serves as a contributor and advisor in developing and adapting strategic initiatives.
    • Researches and advises on new technologies, services, and partnership opportunities.
  • Ensures all designed solutions meet our business needs and anticipates and initiates discussion on future needs.
  • Executes committed development projects with an emphasis on quality and ease of support, use, and maintenance.
    • This includes development, design changes, risk assessment, troubleshooting, testing, and QA within a team.
Requires an advanced level of knowledge and experience in the following:
  • C#
  • SQL / SQL Server
  • Design / Architecture
  • Automation and Integration
  • BI
  • Augmented Intelligence
  • Scaling
  • Abstract Design
  • WPF
  • Web Experience
  • Application Security

A Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or other) and at least 5 years of software development experience, including several years in software design. In lieu of degree we’ll accept an Associate’s Degree and years of equivalent experience. Must be able to demonstrate a history of involvement in the entire SDLC. Must be able to present evidence of having led development initiatives. In lieu of a degree one must be able to establish a greater level of experience.
