Project Description:
  • We are seeking a Java Developer to work REMOTE
  • This is a contract opportunity that does not offer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to work on W2.

  • Responsible for analysis, design, code, and testing of multiple components of application code for multiple systems using EDI tools such as Oracle Weblogic, and Edifecs Xengine.
  • Involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of modules and those that interface with other applications.
  • Has a range of technical skills including EDI development, Java, Weblogic PL SQL, Oracle db, Unix basics, Windows scripting, and subversioning tools.
  • Combines technical skills with knowledge of systems and business processes to develop effective solutions.
  • Limited client interaction.
  • Participates in pager/on-call support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services into production environment.
  • Helps identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision
