Must have passion for analytics, data and storytelling with visualization tools like Qlikview and Tableau. Successful candidates must be self motivated in learning business processes and have a focus on making recommendations for simplification and efficiency

• Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and marts
• Crafting and executing queries upon request for data
• Presenting information through reports and visualization
• Direct usage of QlikView and QlikSense, Nprinting and Alteryx and references to share experience
• Willing to be hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, project plans)
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
• Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.
• Provide technical assistance and data troubleshooting for business rules in the visualizations, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance in the context of data elements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working on enterprise ETL and BI such as Informatica, QlikView, QlikSense, Tableau, Oracle 11g and a proven track record leading visualization projects
• Proven work experience as a BI Developer and giving advice to increase performance and usability
• Familiarity Salesforce data preferred
• Direct experience working on life sciences or HIT data projects
• Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
• Experience with Agile development methodologies such as XP/SCRUM
• A desire to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
