Sun-Net, a San Jose, CA software company, is seeking experienced Oracle and SQL Server Database Engineer.

We are a stable profitable company with core enterprise software product offering used by power utilities.We're conveniently located close to 880, 101, 87, near PayPal and next to a VTA stop conveniently on North First Street.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 2 years of experience with:

• Data modeling and database design

• Database Development using Packages/Stored Procedures/Triggers in SQL, PLSQL and T-SQL

• ETL scripting, Data migration and conversion.

• Database performance and tuning, diagnosing memory leaks

• Writing database documentation, including ERD and the data dictionary

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the database and application levels.

• Driven to understand the business use of the data objects, not just the implementation

• Ability to work on on ad-hoc requests and works well with developers on simultaneous projects and tasks

• Effective and positive Communication and Team working skills

• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of Java programming will be a plus
• Knowledge of BIRT report and Microsoft SSRS
