We are hosting a 12-16 week remote internship beginning in mid-May, working with our Member Communications Consulting and Content Implementation teams to support all aspects of the document creation process. This role will be exposed to database content management and testing, as well as support creation of member documents using our user interface.
Responsibilities
Work with team to resolve bugs - content issues found by system users. May include working in SQL DB or in custom UI to manipulate content/logic.
Work in JIRA to report, manage and respond to bugs.
Work with team in custom UI to manage/manipulate client data used for document generation.
Use basic HTML to manipulate output for documents.
Review/audit Medicare Advantage documents for consistency and data verification.
Attend meetings.
Education
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or related field of study
Prefer candidate who graduates after spring 2021
Qualification/Skills
Basic understanding of business internal controls
Preference for a minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 Scale)
Strong service orientation
Self-starter with strong work ethic and sense of accountability
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Preference for some exposure to html or SQL work
Good communication (verbal, written, and listening)
Must be self-motivated, capable of taking initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing priorities, and effectively manage deadlines
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with the leaders and colleagues
Ability to work independently
Strong analytical skills
Strong time management and organization skills
Work Schedule
This is a remote, work from home position. Candidates may be working with teams based on East or West coast so core hours may fluctuate. Weekend work and Overtime is highly probable.
