The Full Stack Developer Oracle SQL is responsible for developing and maintaining systems to store, organize, and access data. This is a highly technical role that incorporates aspects of computer programming, software engineering, and data architecture and management.

Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design database tables and structures
  • Create views, functions, and stored procedures
  • Write optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications
  • Create database triggers for use in automation
  • Maintain data quality and oversee database security
  • Design solutions
  • Contribute to design activities
  • Develops code independently
  • Participate in code reviews and may lead code reviews
  • Lead and provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers
  • Design, prepare, and execute unit tests
  • Provide time / resource estimates for assigned tasks or projects
  • Analyze technical issues
  • Collaborate with other internal and external groups
  • Provide and review needed documentation changes
. Requirements:

Minimum/General Experience: 5 years of experience.

Minimum Education: Bachelors’ Degree (Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Other Related Field)

Security: Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust.

  • U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident

Federal Civilian Public Trust Consists of a review of up to but not limited to:

  • Covers 5-10 year period and in some instances lifetime events
  • OPM Security Investigations Index (SII)
  • DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII)
  • National Agency Check (NAC) records

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a development environment
  • Experience with TOAD
  • Knowledge of Java, C++ and C#
  • Experience with database systems such as such as MongoDB and CouchDB
  • Understanding of Bash or Windows batch scripts
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with other business units
