Data Analyst/Specialist Intern
Dominicanos USA (DUSA) is looking for an enthusiast, and dynamic Data Specialist Intern to join our team and make a difference in the community that we serve. The Data Specialist intern will assist the Data Administrator in maintaining and organizing our current extensive database which includes, voter registration, citizenship, and volunteers. Must be able to run and create reports, identify and correct data quality issues investigates root causes of data issues and works to implement corrective action. The intern will attend regular meetings with the teams as well as staff meetings, and will be will be provided with training aand learning resources which will enable him/her to understand the basic functionality of our databases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Entering and managing data using Salesforce, PDI and/or Catalist
  • Analyze complex datasets, including voter analysis
  • Data cleanup on multiple platforms, ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Capture, update, and analyze data from voter mobilization campaigns
  • Keep all records and information confidential.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be well organized, self-directed, strong attention to detail, proactive, willing to learn, as well as a team player and data driven
  • Willing to learn how to manipulate data and create visualizations in multiple data sources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office with advanced ability in Excel
  • Programming skills are a plus, including SQL
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills a must
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Business Analysis: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Fully Remote
