Team Overview:

Today’s Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications rely on item-level data enabled by RAIN RFID technology. Impinj, the world’s #1 provider of RAIN RFID products and solutions, is looking for an experienced RF Product Engineer for our RFID reader, gateway, and module products. Impinj’s PE/TE team leads the manufacturing effort for these key products and you will be on the front line to support our CM’s, improve our quality, and meet our customers’ demands.

What you’ll work on:

  • Conduct design reviews of RF circuits and make DfX recommendations
  • Define and develop RF test approaches for production
  • Production test program checkouts and releases to manufacturing
  • Track and monitor production yield and quality using data analysis tools
  • Yield improvement, test time reduction, lines-down recovery efforts
  • Creating trend charts on key parameters for each product line
  • Selecting and managing 3rd party partners or contractors

We’re looking for you with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline and at least 8 years of directly related proven experience
  • Product engineering experience with wireless, RF, PCB, and/or network products
  • Ability to troubleshoot using laboratory test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, etc…)
  • Proficiency with PLM (Oracle-Agile, Arena), Database (SQL), and data tools (Spotfire, JMP)
  • Experience working with contractors and volume production contract manufacturers
  • Knowledge of industry standards, FMEA process, and RCCA / 8D analysis

Desirable:

  • In-depth knowledge of RF, analog, and digital circuits
