Data Integration Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Full-Time Direct Hire: 90K-110K salary plus benefits
  • Working hours: Flexible Work Schedule, Monday Friday (i.e. 4 10-hour shifts with Friday off)
  • This is a remote position but would require quarterly office visits in Nashville, TN. All travel arrangements would be accommodated by our client.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience successfully delivering high performing application solutions that meet scope, cost, and date parameters
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development utilizing a variety of system integration methods and technologies including
  • Proven experience in running multiple project streams concurrently including client integrations and/or custom development web services, SOAP, JSON, REST, APIs, XML, IBM Integrator, and other integration type tools
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL supporting integration techniques
  • Experience with IBM Integrator, API development, Agile methodologies, version control system such as SVN or Git (Preferred)
  • Experience in developing integrations in several technologies and languages such as SSIS, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Windows Powershell (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Python and SQL Plus, JIRA, SSRS (Preferred)

Our client has an opening for an Application Integration Manager to join our Integration team. The Integration team is comprised of skilled IT professionals that develop custom integration solutions for both internal and external customers to ensure the successful integration, deployment, and support of mission-critical technology solutions.

The successful candidate will combine analytical ability, technical integration skills, mentorship of teammates, and project management principles, and the ability to develop and lead data integration projects. This will include selecting the integration approach and applying sound technical management and development skills throughout the delivery lifecycle to produce high-quality solutions.

The Application Integration Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating application interfaces, data flows, transformations, and APIs, utilizing both vendor-delivered services and internally developed API tools This includes transitioning legacy data feeds to updated integration technologies, providing seamless data flow among on-premise and hosted applications. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and provide mentorship and development to fellow team members through documentation, applied learning, and strong communication skills.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver the required systems integration solutions for a new business solution replacement and platform change, ensuring continuity and security of the systems, data, and business services
  • Help define the integration and dataflow architecture
  • Identify gaps in available integration services and work on remediation strategies to ensure stability as the underlying platform technologies continue to evolve
  • Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders by creating long-term and short-term project targets, effectively balancing competing initiatives, properly allocating relevant resources, and serving as primary contact for project communications.
  • Coordinate with all Integration Team Members for mentorship and to provide understanding and documentation of system functions as needed.
  • Help assess future API management tools, vetting capabilities against requirements, and performing validation activities as required
  • Contribute to development and management of external-facing API layer for business partner integration
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve production incidents and proactively seek opportunities to develop preventative measures for future occurrences
  • Foster strong team skills and culture for improving application integration techniques
  • Should be proficient in all aspects of the Integration Engineer positions.
  • All duties as assigned
