What is the Feed Operations Analyst Role?

A critical element of our service is the ingestion, support and reconciliation of data from inbound data feeds from over 800 institutions. The Feed Operations Analyst will monitor the daily ingestion of those feeds, investigate and reconcile any breaks between PCR and the custodian, investigate and recommend ETL enhancements as well as work on special projects.

What tools and processes will I have to accomplish my mission?

  • Proprietary reconciliation tools to detect and remediate breaks
  • Workflow management tools
  • Processing telemetry and log analysis dashboards
  • Jira ticket management to manage cross department collaboration
What would my day look like?

  • 50% data aggregation and feed reconciliation
  • 20% service ticket review, analysis, and response
  • 20% miscellaneous and special PCR projects
  • 10% interactions with your team members for learning and improvement
What is the nature of the team I will work with?

You will work on our Data Operations team in our Feed Operations department. The group currently has 6 members with team members in the US and Europe.

What would be my specific responsibilities?

  • Monitor workflow systems for ingestion failures and escalate issues promptly
  • Manage a book of work to ensure the clean ingestion and reconciliation of data feeds
  • Provide proactive support for the data services and technology teams, including requirements development, requests and facilitation of issue resolution
  • Be accountable to our service levels for the accurate and timely process of information

What experience will set me apart for this role?

  • BS/BA degree in Finance preferred
  • 1-4 years' experience in financial services and/or portfolio accounting
  • SQL and/or database management experience preferred
  • Experience with project management
  • Strong analytic, strategic thinking, and problem solving skills
