We are searching for a Product Owner to join our internal software development team focused on the design and build of our IntElligo platform. IntElligo is a proprietary clinical trial management system which serves as a patient recruitment, study conduct, and financial management solution for Elligo’s unique Goes Direct approach to clinical research.
A Product Owner at Elligo is responsible for product delivery - user story creation, backlog grooming, functional design, scrum team ownership, release management, and escalated end user support. The product owner will collaborate with and take direction from a Senior Product Manager. You will be successful if you have a strong sense of ownership, pay attention to the details, enjoy driving initiatives to closure, and can effectively operate in both technical and business-oriented settings. If you also identify with the mission to improve healthcare and clinical research, then Elligo will be a great match.
As part of the product management team within the technology solutions department, you will participate in Agile software development and have the opportunity to wear many different hats. Multi-tasking must be a strength. We are a small, dynamic team that can adapt to changing business needs and deliver quickly, led by the product team.
  • Translate business objectives or user feedback into requirements and user stories.
  • Contribute to functional and data flow design and support UX design efforts.
  • Keep product backlog appropriately prioritized and groomed.
  • Drive software development efforts by supporting daily scrum team activities.
  • Document new release features and help train users.
  • Gather feedback from internal and external users and track core product metrics.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for stakeholders and as an escalation point for production troubleshooting and support activities.
  • Work directly with software and QA engineers in an open, collaborative environment.
  • Execute release management activities to support the monthly release of our product suite.

  • 2 or more years in a product owner, business analyst, systems analyst, or software support related position.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to go from problem to multiple solution options.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Background in healthcare or life sciences is a plus.
