Our client is seeking a Chief Technology Officer who will help support technical operations and development for a fast growing, technology and AI driven collections fintech organization. As a CTO, you’ll be the first to head all technical roadmap planning and decision making for a team experiencing tremendous growth.

Salary: Varies doe; + bonus + benefits +equity, +remote

Location: Remote First Organization with travel to New York and California

How You’ll Do It

Our client is a growing fintech startup working to deliver the next generation of billing, payment, and communication technology . As their first CTO, you’ll work with Engineering leaders and a growing team of Software Developers and QA to design and lead a best path forward to integrate multiple payment providers, gateways, and services to provide customers with a flexible, consistent experience. You’ll be a servant leader with a passion for discovery and sharing; our client is constantly adapting and improving toolsets and honing skills to increase the amount of value they can deliver to their clients in the financial services, utilities, telco B2B space .

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

  • You will lead offshore and onshore development teams (developers and QA)
  • You’ll have built platforms in .NET and MS SQL (RavenDB also desirable)
  • You’ll have a deep understanding of enterprise architecture and have built solutions themselves with a solid understanding of SDLC working with engineers to execute on highly scalable, integrated collections systems.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Azure (including understanding resource usage and cost reduction)
  • Experience with JIRA essential
  • Experience in 1st and 3rd party collections highly preferred
  • Experience working as a leader of an organization experiencing mergers and acquisitions
  • Experience leading distributed teams using who are writing well tested, maintainable, scalable code. You won’t be in the code, but should understand it and be able to support troubleshooting/problem solving/ enterprise architecture
    • Our client’s highly integrated, distributed systems, tech stack includes: C#, React/Redux, (knowledge/exp in F#, Elixir and Elm all highly regarded); Azure and GCP; RavenDB; NServiceBus; SQL
