Technical Business Analyst

What will you be Doing:
This role will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business operations and user needs as well as documenting requirements and defining scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gather information and evaluate output requirements and formats.
  • Study system capabilities and write specifications.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams.
  • Leading business and technical teams through management of products.
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
  • Define project technical requirements, identify project milestones, epics, and stories.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activities.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Manage and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments.
  • Develop, design and prepare effective test plans and cases to perform various types of testing based on requirements and functionalities
  • Translate Functional, Technical, Conversion and Performance requirement specifications into high level test cases/plans.
  • Evaluate test results to identify defects and variances from functional, operational and performance requirements.
  • Train end users to understand technical aspects of business requirements, empowering the business users.
  • Review QA documentation for accuracy, feasibility, and consistency. Create test designs, test cases and expected results for all phases of testing.
  • Perform an end-to-end test in a production environment to validate new or updated business processes, customization and configuration, reports, and data migration.
  • Use SQL to validate data in back-end database.
  • Responsible for preparing user training manuals and conducting training sessions with end-users.

Skills & Experience:
Advanced Excel Techniques, Business Analytics, Tableau
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Preferred Qualifications
Relevant Experience to include:
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
  • Experience leading technical and business teams.
  • Advanced documentation skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Advanced SQL skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, finance, technical business.

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
