Are you a data-driven, experienced marketing automation professional always looking for ways to innovate, integrate, and expand on what’s possible? Actian Corporation is looking for an Email Campaign Execution Manager who can drive end-to-end automation support to strengthen Actian’s brand and market share while focused on growing revenue.
The successful candidate will contribute to and document scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management, orchestrate and execute targeted automated email sequences and nurtures, and conduct complex campaign analysis that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company.
In this role you will have a strong foundation in marketing automation and will be tasked with creating, implementing, and improving best practices and continual enhancement of digital marketing efforts. You will be responsible for understanding digital engagement metrics and implementing strategies to increase customer engagement.

Description

  • Administer and own the Marketo platform for Actian, driving innovation through automation
  • Develop segmentation strategies, email nurture campaigns, build email and landing pages, and capture data associated with marketing automation
  • Create scalable processes that ensure the best practices in campaign setup, conversion, lead generation, nurturing and database management
  • A/B test and continually measure the performance of core conversion assets and campaigns
  • Manage the interface between the Marketo and Salesforce to ensure development and enhancements contribute to increased marketing value across the funnel
  • Maintain and optimize email subscription status in compliance with all necessary email regulations including CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and CCPA
  • Build, test/QA, launch and monitor lifecycle email marketing campaigns including nurture flow that drive awareness, engagement, retention, and advocacy throughout their journey
  • Implement email creation platform to integrate with Marketo
  • Drive effective database segmentation that results in delivering the right message to the right person at the right time
  • Analyze results and data to identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee data integrity & hygiene: cleanliness, completeness, duplicates
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to determine goals, KPIs, audience segments, cadence, and creative assets for each campaign
  • Regularly report on KPIs and campaign performance back to business and marketing team
  • Build ready-made campaign recipes to enable easy extension of the team or self-service campaign setup for marketing colleagues
  • Partner across marketing organization to implement ABM

Experience

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience
  • 2-3 years of experience using a marketing automation tool. Marketo preferred.
  • Marketo certification is highly desirable
  • Proven track record in digital marketing including email marketing, lead nurturing, and marketing automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including working with global teams and time zones
  • Impeccable follow-up skills with a remote, globally distributed team
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce as an integrated CRM platform
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick learner with a problem-solving mindset
  • Self-motivated, transparent, and proactive
