In any given day, you will:
- Find efficiencies in our QA processes and methods
- Participate in strategy planning & execution (e.g. sharing common test code across microservices)
- Enhance Automate API (Web Services, RESTful)
- Improving testing using existing tools/new tools
- Develop automation code with standard coding practices and reusable libraries
- Create, update and maintain standard coding documentation
- Participate as a Quality Engineering stakeholder on an agile scrum team

- 1+ year of general work experience
- Experience with programming languages on our current stack (Ruby and/or Node)
- Experience writing automated tests for micro-services
- Experience translating large features into software designs
- An open mind about different solutions and a willingness to discuss alternatives
- Automated API testing experience and/or API Development
- Discipline to follow team patterns & working agreements
- Strong collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to uphold agile principles
- Exposure to branching strategies such as git-flow and GitHub Flow
