Position Description:
The Quality Analyst II is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test cases, test scripts, and process plans for projects. The QA II may be needed in the process of mentoring/growing junior resources while on assigned projects. They will also be responsible for the maintenance of test cases and scripts, defect creation and resolution with detailed documentation.
Essential Duties:
  • Peer review and assisting with the test strategy, methods, and plans.
  • Assist with onboarding creation for internal and external testers.
  • Assist in test design with clients.
  • Create, collaborate, and peer reviews test scenarios, test scripts, and/or test cases documents.
  • Execute scenarios, scripts, and test cases and any associated defect retests.
  • Conduct triage on defects.
  • Assists with defect and change estimates.
  • Validate project requirements.
  • Validate project test cases.
  • Write and/or update test scripts and/or test scenarios according to the project needs.
  • Prioritize testing activities on a daily basis.
  • Execute test cases and report defects with definitive severity and priority based on requirements.
  • Report any Critical or High issues to Test Lead/Senior that could impact quality, timelines, or estimates.
  • Assist and maintain defect reporting further into timelines.
  • Peer reviewing requirements for gaps.
  • Acquire and analyze test data from client at necessary timeline junctions for
  • Help mentor junior resources.
  • Participate in refining QA processes for internal and external projects.
  • Keep test cases updated, maintaining automated and manual test cases, and verifying new features/bug fixes.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with the business, technical, and overall project team is a must.
Technical Skills:
  • Test Automation experience is a plus
  • Experience with Office 365 required
  • Working knowledge of SDLC process
  • Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Creative problem solver

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related or relevant software implementation experience.
  • 2-4 years proven experience with Duck Creek Platform
Additional Requirements:
  • This position is a full-time position and primarily works Monday through Friday 8 AM-5 PM CST, the ability to work outside of primary hours is required as needed
  • This position can be either remote, or in one of our offices located in Springfield, MO or Columbia, SC
  • Ability to travel as needed
