Job Description

QA Automation Engineer

Essential Duties:

  • Evaluates all aspects of product quality including functionality, browser compatibility, accessibility, performance, conformance to style guide, etc.
  • Automates testing of software applications using current automation tools, preferably Selenium WebDriver with keyword driven framework
  • Experience in Selenium is a must and Tosca is nice to have
  • Responsible for scripts and scenario maintenance to reflect new functionality and data
  • Executes software testing for bugs, analyzing and reporting test failures
  • Defines and captures measures of product quality and QA process effectiveness
  • Creates test plans and test scenarios for accurately testing and debugging software
  • Develops, maintains, and executes regression scenarios
  • Implements and leads an agile approach to QA
  • Utilizes automated defect tracking systems to log, track and prioritize issues
  • Anticipates user problems and suggests appropriate changes to correct defects and to enhance system functionality and performance
  • Stays current in QA best practices

Other Duties

  • Assist with manual testing as needed.

  • Knowledge of front-end testing and visual regression tools
  • Knowledge of software testing to include the development of test plans/test scripts

MUST HAVES :

  • Preferably Selenium WebDriver with keyword driven framework
  • Tosca experience preferred
  • Telecom experience preferred
