KCare is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Development Team of a new product line. The Business Analyst will work with clients to analyze and document business processes for the software solution to be developed, determine what functional requirements and high-level features will best suit the clients’ needs, elaborate on the details of the software development project and requirements to more accurately manage the project, and support the solution’s implementation. The Business Analyst will ensure our clients’ business needs are met and are consistent with the overall vision of the project. The analyst must be an excellent facilitator and communicator (both technical and non-technical), enjoy problem-solving, and be comfortable engaging in dialogue about business and technical standards and decisions. This hire should be able to multi-task in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication between a client and our Development Team.
  • Effectively and accurately translate the client’s business requirements for our developers while simultaneously communicating the needs of our developers to the client.
  • Investigate and analyze the client’s business processes and pain points.
  • Assist the client in defining and designing technical solutions to its business problems.
  • Gather and refine business and technical requirements and use those requirements to drive the design and review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment.
  • Develop and/or refine business process maps and Business Requirement Documents to ensure our Development Team has the necessary information to develop the appropriate software solution and limit unnecessary “reworks” in the future.
  • Work with end-users to develop test procedures.
  • Create test cases and user stories to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Conduct validation and testing of the solution.
  • Assist with project management from development through validation and implementation.

Experience:

  • Proficient knowledge of business and technical standards.
  • B.S. in Business Administration/Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a business or technical analyst on client-facing software.
  • Experience in projects involving the Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dynamics 365. Experience with Common Data Service is a plus.
  • Human Services background is a plus.

Skills:

  • Exceptional group facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Experience in a client-facing role; liaising with clients and leading requirements gathering and JAD sessions.
  • Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing technology in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
