About the Role:
As the Finance Manager you will be a critical part of the growth and success of Retain. Youll work closely with our founders and leaders across the business to plan, monitor, and control finances across the business. Your focus will be enabling rapid growth, while ensuring effective cost controls and compliance.
Responsibilities
Drive execution on day-to-day accounting and finance functions including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and financial reporting
Help with preparation and analysis of forecasts, financial updates, and departmental budgets, presenting financial narratives, metrics, and recommendations to business partners
Contribute to financial and operational planning for the company, serving as a key planning partner to leaders across the business
Coordinate general bookkeeping and tax preparation with external firms
Lead ad hoc projects related to investor relations, KPI measurement, SaaS metrics, etc.
Partner with the Leadership team on financial planning and results management.
Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans of the organization.
Skills Required
Experience managing AR, PR, Revenue Recognition and Payroll oversight
Demonstrated experience in corporate accounting and finance
Strong priority-management skills
Process-orientation with close attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Familiar with designing and executing complex financial models, and delivering insights on business performance
Education And Qualifications
3-6+ years of experience leading (or significantly contributing to) the Finance or Accounting team at an early-stage, high-growth business
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
